Telmo Rodriguez Vino de la Tierra de Castilla Y Leon Pegaso Barrancos de Pizarra Spain 2004

Winemaker's Notes:

Telmo Rodriguez is one of Spain's pioneer winemakers, advocating native grape varietalstied to the climates and conditions of their sites, and making world class wines fromundiscovered as well as known regions. All of his wines are organic and several arebiodynamic. Respecting Spanish traditions, Telmo sticks to the old style bush vinesinstead of the popular style of trellising which, according to him, isn't interesting anddestroys the landscape. Perhaps most impressive, while Telmo Rodriguez makes rareand limited wines of astonishing character and quality, his everyday wines have beenequally praised and widely recognized for the tremendous value they offer.
