The 2005 TEIRA Dry Creek Valley Merlot exhibits strong notes of wet earth, saddle leather, dust and dark chocolate on the nose. light on the attack, the wine expands on the mid-palate and shows its true power on the finish with dark red fruit flavors. Tightly wound with soft tannins and good structure, this wine is young and will benefit from at least 6 to 12 months in the cellar. Drink now (after decanting) through 2020.
