Food Pairings for Teira Sauvignon Blanc Dry Creek Valley Woods Vineyard
A wonderfully balanced and inexpensive sauvignon blanc. It gets hard to distinguish some of these young SBs, but this one's most prominent feature is its dryness. Very dry on the middle of the tongue and top of the palate. Nice, light citrus nose, which follows through into some other great SB characteristics: lemon/lime, with hints of grass, mint, even some cantaloupe in there. The aromas follow through the nose after a good quaff or two, and the wine has a very clean, delightful finish. Bought a bottle for about $11 + tax. I will buy this label again.
