Food Pairings for Tedeschi Vineyards Maui Splash!
The Maui Splash seems to be the most common purchase at the Tedeschi Winery. The passion fruit adds something interesting and rather desirable. I bit sweet for my liking, but refreshing none the less. I had a hard time pairing this wine, perhaps best when drank on the beach at sunset all by itself?
It tastes more like a wine cooler, (probably due to the pineapple). Refreshing, but not something I would buy for myself. I feel like a cheap bottle of champagne would be more satisfying than this wine. Most of Tedeschi's wines are "tropical fruit" wines, which is great as a tourist attraction, but not so appealing as a frequent purchase.
My favorite of Tedeschi's selection. This wine does not let the tropical aroma and sweetness of the pineapple overwhelm, as most of the others do. I bought two bottles, and enjoyed them both with light vegetarian fare and fish for the later.
Tastes weak to me. Probably pineapple.
Glad this is now available in Florida. Great light fun easy drinking pineapple wine. It is unmatched in taste when it comes to pineapple wine. From Hawaii.... They got it down folks.
Easy to drink. Very distinct aroma of tropical fruit. Not too complex.
Had a gift bottle with our Thanksgiving turkey. Complemented the traditional meal nicely. Unfortunately was given only 1 bottle!!! Would definitely buy several bottles for myself.

Wine Tasting NotesA soft, semi-dry wine made from the juice of Maui grown pineapples. Its pineapple flavor is subtle with a lingering finish. This wine can be served for all occasions and is a great compliment to Pacific Rim cuisine.
