Te Awa Syrah Hawkes Bay 2007
External Review by JJ Buckley Fine Wines:
Impressive wine with more fruit sweetness and intensity than the Left Field label. Very seductive Syrah that delivers dark berry plum and black pepper with energy and focus. Though delicious now I will be intrigued to see how it ages. The wine has a heavy deposit of tartrates - decant before drinking. Bob Campbell MW.
