Taz Pinot Noir Santa Barbara County Fiddlestix 2007
Wine Tasting Notes The Fiddlestix Pinot Noir shows notable depth and complexity. The wine opens with aromas of clove, anise, black currant and plum with subtle hints of fresh earth and eucalyptus. The palate is lushly textured with integrated tannins and notes of cocoa, black cherry and black plum.
Editorial Reviews for Taz Pinot Noir Santa Barbara County Fiddlestix
Ripe but subdued on the nose though with plenty of alcohol showing, aromas are earthy, minty and oaky. Ripe and tannic in the mouth with lots of peppery, red hots like cinnamon spice over a base of slightly sweet red fruit. 80pts
Cherries and some strawberries and red plums on the nose, red fruit and some dusty earth some sweet red spices, subtle earthiness lingers. As it opened up, I got more earthy and darker on the nose
