The 2004 Taurus is 100% Tinta de Toro of which 60% was aged in French oak for 8 months. Dark ruby-colored, it has a fruity, red berry nose with spicy, red currant flavors. This medium-bodied wine has nicely integrated tannin in its elegant personality. Drink this tasty wine over the next 1andndash;2 years. It is a very good value.

Wow, what an intriguing wine andmdash; almost Rhonish in style with a medium-full body and some palate-teasing spices that will enhance almost any cuisine, including roasted vegetables and meats or a crispy free range chicken infused with fresh rosemary. The finish is lipsmacking and long, with delicious black fruits fleshing out the palate. From the Toro region of Spain, the wine is made from 100% Tempranillo.
