- "The 2001 Taurasi is made in a fairly accessible style. Gorgeous aromas of ash, smoke and graphite lead to a core of ripe dark fruit, licorice and sweet toasted oak as this attractive wine opens in the glass. The presence of early tertiary notes suggests it will be approachable relatively early for a Taurasi. Terredoras 2001 Taurasi spent a year and a half in small French oak barrels followed by another year in cask. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2013.
