Tasca d'Almerita Nero d'Avola Sicilia IGT Regaleali 2004
Lamùri: or we could say, reasons of the heart. The history of Tasca d’Almerita is the history of a family, and, as such, it tells of people, passions and projects, such as that of growing Nero d’Avola, which long ago sunk its roots in the hills of Regaleali. The composition of the soil and an unique micro-climate are the very substance of this terrain, passed on to the ancient vines, combining freshness and elegance with the natural riches of Sicilian wines.
Just enjoyed 2 bottles of this wine at Gradisca, 126 W. 13th St, NYC. Fantastic flavor and the food at Gradisca is great! Ask for Neil.
I really love this one. Intense ruby red. To drink with some red meat.
