Strong drying tannins. Strong acidity. Powerful for an 8 year old wine. (Tasted as part of a marathon at the Wines from Spain trade event.)

I drank this on March 18, 2008. Nice structure and tannins under great berry and stone fruit flavors with a long, velvety finish. Oak is understated but present.
