- This is one of those "few exceptions." There is more oak on the nose than you might have expected, but this "old vines" wine opens on the palette with plum, blackberry, and black currant fruits. The deep dark color is breathtaking. This wine should cellar beautifully for ten years, or more, but it is thoroughly enjoyable now (let it breathe!).
