The superb 1995 Chateauneuf du Pape displays gobs of black-raspberry, black-cherry, and herb-tinged fruit, good fat and glycerin, lofty alcohol, and a ripe, chewy, structured finish. The wine is intensely concentrated, and obviously made from low-yielding, old vines. It will be accessible young. Last tasted 6/96.
