Tamber Bey Merlot Yountville Two Rivers Vineyard 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

Aged for 20 months in 50 percent new Darnajou and Taransaud Bordeaux barrels, Tamber Bey's 2005 Two Rivers Vineyard Merlot is deeply saturated and ruby red in color. It possesses a concentrated nose of red currant, violet, cedar and black truffle. The mid palate is very site-specific to Yountville with black fruit and a Cuban cigar box quality. The finish is layered with tones of black licorice, minerals and a touch of anise. This Merlot is perfect now, yet will only get better with age. 90 cases
