Tamber Bey Cabernet Sauvignon Yountville Two Rivers Vineyard 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

After 20 months in 25 percent new French Bordeaux Barrels, the 2005 Tamber Bey Two Rivers Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon emerged to reveal a nose dominated by cedar, blackberry and mint. The palate follows this thread by offering cloves, mint, red raspberry and cherry compote. The oak contributes a sweet cream and vanilla element that balances the round tannin component of the wine. Sweet, black fruits round out this exemplary wine. 1000 cases

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
