This fills the palate with soft, warm black fruit character, contrasted by firm tannins and well integrated acidity that lend tension to the wine. Pour it now with grilled beef.
Competent from the start, with well-formed fruity aromas of raspberry and plum. Thereandrsquo;s even some leather and dried cheese to the nose. In the mouth, itandrsquo;s all about earthy, intense berry fruit and juicy freshness. Finishes a little tart but lively, with good form and feel.
The color is a rich, inky, deep red hue. It has a very pleasant nose of cherries, sweet plums, with notes of cinnamon, vanilla, and a hint of black pepper. It was rich and spicy, with a nice silky mouth feel.
Smooth and lifted, with bold berry aromas backed by strong lemony oak. Plum and boysenberry form a solid foundation, and off that you get texture and chocolate. Tight, tannic and with far more good qualities than bad.
Coming from the mountains of Mendoza, Argentina, this beautifully crafted Malbec exudes personality both on the nose and in the mouth. Tamari means "to do everything with passion" in the dialect of the indigenous people from the local area. How true is it of what comes out of this bottle! On the nose, you will find candied cherry, a hint of summer ripened figs, plum and definite vanilla. In the mouth, the craftsmanship shows off in flavors of cherry and vanilla bean with some spice. The tannins are well-rounded and smooth with an elegant finish. I just loved this wine on its own! A must try!
Winemaker's Notes:
Intense and deep red garnet. Floral, fruity, intense, honest. Flowery notes of violets and jasmine, ripe red fruits, like plums, cherries and chocolate morello cherry. Aging in oak barrels adds complexity, and notes of hazelnuts, almonds, cinnamon. Very good attack, good acidity, nice and delicate. It is a wine of medium body, long and tasty. The fruit in the mouth recalls notes of plums, caramel, toffee. Very interesting tannins, tasty, sucrose and long. A ripe fruit aftertaste and very good persistence are emphasized.
