Tamarack Ciel du Cheval Syrah 2009

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Tree bark, violet, white pepper, rare beef, lingonberry, violet pastille, and a hint of juniper all come together beautifully on this pure and precise nose. Pretty powerful on entry, this carries a leading edge of ripe and sweet blueberry and wild cherry fruit to the palate. The tannins are soft and polished lending this a decidedly silky feel and the acids keep things lively enough. A very perfumed Syrah that is drinking terrifically today. 92pts
