Tamarack Cellars Cabernet Franc Columbia Valley 2010
25 to 33 new wood, all French Glossy on the nose, all freshly crushed berry fruit with a nice hint of balsam and herb. Very well integrated tannins lend this a smooth yet seamless feel. Very perfumed in the mouth with layers of blue flowers, gentle vanilla oak,and cool blue fruit all coming together in a fairly lighter styled, elegant and fresh package. This is quite transparent and fresh with lively tannins. 91tsAdd winemaker's notes

spicy cherry with oak. i don't know how to describe it but I like the way the tannins don't pucker your mouth or glue to your palatte but are definitely there, but are smooth and balanced. I guess that is what they mean by "structured"
Received in monthly wine club, so not sure what to expect, but Wow! Nice full bodied, fruit filled with soft tannins and a pleasant linger on the palate. Now looking for a case.

Dark boysenberry hue, aromas of blueberries, currants and mocha; chewy flavor notes of black plum and olive with integrated, rich tannins over a focused finish. A nice cab franc!
