Deep bright red. Suave perfumed aromas of raspberry cinnamon and fresh flowers. Sappy and intense on the palate offering sweet red fruit and rose pastille flavors lifted by tangy acidity. Finishes bright and precise with the floral note echoing with real authority.

Shows fragrant wilted rose and dried berry scents. Medium-bodied, with spice, herb, dried cherry and hints of anise and mineral. Ends with fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2012. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.

Light, bright red. Sharply focused red berry and spice aromas are impressively pure and fresh. Taut, finely etched redcurrant and wild strawberry flavors are seamless and clean, with slow-mounting minerality contributing energy. Finishes with gentle sweetness and a jolt of dusty minerals. This will need a bit more time than the Edna Valley bottling.

Three generations of the Talley family have cultivated their wines in the cool temperate Arroyo Valley. This Pinot Noir is a perfect example of their dedicated efforts. Sweet fruits and floral notes greet the nose and follow through on the palate. The wine is light yet bursting with berries and sweet spices. Finishes clean and tight. Pair with pork and lamb dishes.
