Offers a minerally edge to the ripe pear and melon flavors, gaining depth and nuance with air. Full-bodied and tight. Drink now. Drink now through 2012.

The 2007 Chardonnay Rosemaryandrsquo;s Vineyard has a similar light gold color and a distinct smell of crushed rocks intermixed with white flowers as well as restrained nectarine and orange blossom. Much more expressive in the mouth than the tight aromatics suggest, this brilliant wine builds incrementally and authoritatively on the palate, with beautiful purity, fruit, and structure. Talleyandrsquo;s house style of richness, restraint, and power combined with elegance is beautifully displayed in this full-bodied example of Chardonnay. Drink it over the next 5andndash;6 years.

Dramatic and unctuous, displaying Rosemary’s usual complexity and intensity. In this fine vintage, the ripe grilled pineapple, peach tart, crème brûlée, buttered toast, honeysuckle and mineral flavors are accompanied by fine, crisp acidity that brightens and lifts the richness. Very rich and elegant. Drink now–2010.

The 2007’s light straw color is followed by subtle oak notes, good structure and a sense of tannin to the wine’s profile. Exuberant aromas of citrus oil, orange peel, lemon blossom, green apple and a hint of pineapple are followed by a full-bodied Chardonnay with great fruit and length as well as the elegance, finesse and restraint that seem to be characteristics of a Talley wine. This 2007 should drink well for 10–15 years.
