Talley Arroyo Grande Chardonnay 2011
This wine has rich aromas of lemon zest and crème brulee with a hint of orange blossom. Initial flavors of fresh apricots and lemon curd give way to a lingering toasty finish. This wine has a rich, creamy texture balanced by a bright acidity and flintiness characteristic of Rosemary's Chardonnay. This wine pairs well with oysters or grilled lobster. Barrel aged sur lie 15 months in French oak (25% new). 389 cases produced. Not yet reviewed; 2010 vintage rated 94 points by Wine Advocate.
