Talbott Logan Chardonnay Bottle 2007
100% estate-grown Chardonnay grapes from our beautiful 585 acre Sleepy Hollow Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands of California. Logan Chardonnay is named in honor of Robb's son. Logan is made to strike a perfect balance between the pure fruit character of our estate-grown grapes, and the influence of winemaker Dan Karlsen, a Chardonnay and Pinot Noir specialist for over 30 years. A medium oaked Chardonnay, aged primarily in French oak. Layers of pear, apple and citrus highlighted by a hint of vanilla. Sleepy Hollow's signature mineral character and creamy texture add complexity to a long finish.

This is a classic vintage for Diamond T Chardonnay. The color is vibrant medium straw, with excellent clarity, and the aromas are redolent with high-tone tropical notes of pineapple and kiwi, underscored by layers of toasted hazelnut, citrus and minerals. The flavors on the palate echo the initial aromatics, while offering up additional layers of Pippin apple and vanilla bean that lead to a refreshing finish highlighting Meyer lemon and flinty minerality.
This tête de cuvee is the most rare and distinctive wine we offer. Lush and complex, the 2007 vintage displays racy aromatics of white peaches, lemon and toasted hazelnut. On the palate, the wine echoes these same inviting peach and lemon elements as it reveals a sophisticated structure that seamlessly balances crisp acidity, complex minerality and a creamy mouthfeel.
