Taittinger Champagne Blend Champagne Comtes de Champagne Rosé Brut 2009
Taittininger is the third oldest Champagne house, and the origins of the house can be traced back to 1734. The Taittinger headquarters are in Reims, situated above 4th century Roman cellars with miles of tunnels and cellars used in the aging process in making Champagne. The House style is elegance with creamy richness. Cuvee Prestige is made of 40% Chardonnay grapes, and is a delicate wine with flavors of fresh fruit and honey.

creamy vanilla biscuits, more fruit forward, a little bit tropical with orange and melon notes throughout
Nice, nice French champagne. Bright gold with tiny bubble stream. Aromas of biscuit and lemon meringue, which were echoed on the palate along with a slight note of apples.
My taste for Champagne tends to lean toward the real yeasty ones, almost like eating bread. This Brut is nothing like that but I did really enjoy it. It has got a lovely fruit mix that sets it apart.
Lovely on sale... but not one of my favorites

Lovely -- tastes like a ripe beehive
