Tablas Creek Vermentino Paso Robles 2012

Winemaker's Notes:

90 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): Tablas Creek's 2012 Vermentino is rich, layered and exceptionally beautiful. Melon, pear and white flowers notes are nicely balanced in a medium bodied white loaded with near-term appeal. The crispiness of Vermentino is present, but the 2012 has a little more depth and roundness than most vintages. This is a gorgeous wine from Tablas Creek. Drink: 2013-2016. (Jul 2013)

Nice, tart Paso vermentino. A hint of fresh cut lemon and some floral notes on the nose. On the palate, nice lemon/lime citrus with some wet stone and vibrant acidity. There's a touch of fresh apricot and bees wax on the finish.
