Ribera del Duero, SpainTineta Ribera del Duero is a gorgeous red of 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) from Bodegas Ordonez (also referred to as Bodegas Avante.) It comes from the famed Ribera del Duero region, where the Duero River has carved its path to the sea through the high central plateau of Spain, leaving behind alluvial soils. The vineyard source for Tineta is El Carril, where the soil is gravel, sand and clay chalk. The combination of poor soils, harsh climate and high elevation produces a grape with extraordinary depth of dark fruit flavors. This wine received a 91-point rating from Robert Parker, who called it "juicy, succulent and sensual." We call it a great red wine gem! Tineta Ribera del Duero is dark ruby/purple in color with a beautiful bouquet of blackberry, black currant, plum, and smoke. Medium-full in body with silky tannins, the palate offers rich flavors of blackberries, plums and spice. It is well balanced to enjoy now and over the next 4-5 years. The wine lingers impressively on the finish.Enjoy Tineta with roast pork, grilled lamb chops, steak, paella, and aged cheeses.

Sehr harmonisch. Äusserst eleganter, sehr langer Abgang.

Grand Barossa Shiraz epitomises the premium international reputation for Shiraz which has made the Barossa Valley famous. Lifted aromas of blackberry, plum and black pepper are accompanied by spicy, dark berry fruits on the palate.

The 2011 Greco di Tufo Loggia della Serra impresses for its energy and pure focus. Smoke, slate, crushed rocks and pears are all layered together in a gorgeous, medium-bodied white. All the elements meld together beautifully in this striking, delineated white. There is an understated intensity on the finish that is hugely appealing. The Loggia della Sera is the most complete and harmonious of Terredora’s 2011 whites. Anticipated maturity: 2013–2015.

Winemaker's Notes:

Gascony's mild climate offers this grape variety a new range of aromas. A distinctive bouquet with fine intense floral notes, some minerality, and the underlying suggestion of ripe grapes. Fresh and refined with an attractive intensity. A fine expression of Sauvignon Blanc, this wine is a delight. Quality grapes and a winemaker's expert touch combined to reach new heights. Serving suggestion: Serve chilled. Excellent with starters such as fish, seafood or white meat.
