Tablas Creek Esprit de Beaucastel Blanc 2006

The 2005 Esprit de Beaucastel Blanc is a vibrant expression of the terroir of Tablas Creek. It shows aromas of honeysuckle, mint, lemon peel and spice, with rich Roussanne flavors of honey, rose petals, pear, petrol and white flowers, excellent breadth, cleansing acidity and great length. 65% Roussanne, 30% Grenache Blanc, 5% Picpoul Blanc The 2006 Esprit de Beaucastel Blanc is a vibrant expression of the terroir of Tablas Creek. It shows aromas of honeysuckle, mint, lemon peel and spice, with rich Roussanne flavors of honey, rose petals and pear, a distinctive saline minerality from the limestone soils, balanced acidity and great length. It should drink well when young but will also reward time in bottle; it should show beautifully for at least the next 8-10 years.

Another strong vintage for this wine. This is one of Tablas' most consistent wines. Rousanne, Grenache Blanc, and Picpoul Blanc. Strongly flavored by the Rousanne. Bright, mineral tones with lemon, tropical fruit, and honey. A wonderful wine.

Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Picpoul. Beautiful pale gold color. Honeyed apple and honeydew aromas and flavors with beeswax touches and mineral notes. Perfectly balanced between fruit and acidity.
