Tablas Creek Dianthus Paso Robles Rose 2012

Winemaker's Notes:

60% Mourvèdre, 25% Grenache, 15% Counoise. The 2012 Dianthus is cranberry in color, with an expressive nose of watermelon rind, rose petals, plum, and mineral. The mouth is rich but vibrant, with flavors of wild strawberry, pomegranate, plum and lime, and a long, rich finish that is both fresh and spicy. Pair it with Mediterranean cuisine, Spanish tapas, preparations with garlic and olive oil... or just enjoy it outside on a sunny day. 14.5% alcohol 1,200 cases produced.

Tablas Creek Vineyard:
Tablas Creek, founded by the Perrin brothers of Chateau de Beaucastel and Robert Haas of Vineyard Brands, produces organically farmed, estate-grown Rhone varietals and blends in the limestone clay soils of west Paso Robles.
