Winemaker's notes: Wine Description In September, high quality grapes were selected from carefully tended vineyards. Firm bubbles were generated using the Méthode Traditionnelle. The wine acquired a distinctive mousseux due to the use of yeasts indigenous to Champagne, France. The dosage was made with local sweet wine. Tasting Notes The Grüner Veltliner is delicate yet complex, with a mellow citrus color- appealing peppery note, elegantly fresh fruit and fine Mousseux with an invigorating finish.

Amazing. Still sparkling the next day. Can you believe it's a screw top!?? Had half the bottle the first day and no headache! 10% alcohol by vol. Semi-sparkling, dry. Not the best sparkling I ever had but for the price and screwtop and good buzz without headache, highly recommend!

I believe each wine should be judged on its own merits and not in competition with others. In that regard, this wine is simply fabulous. For $4.99 you can't beat this with a stick. Not too sweet, not too dry, not too bubbly. At $4.99 it's cheaper than not drinking. Drank a bottle with some stir fry and the pairing was delightful. I'd keep a bottle of this on hand at all times. Seriously, EVERYBODY loves a nice light, sparkling white and its extremely useful to have on hand.

Nice bubbly from Burgenland, Austria I got to sample at a recent tasting. The cremant-like wine offers tons of tiny, creamy bubbles and a floral nose with great acidity. Golden in color, this wine is a great option when looking for an affordable sparkling wine.

The Szigeti family has made wine in the Neusidlersee region of Austria for generations but only recently have dedicated their facility to Traditional Methode Sparkling wines. This Grüner is dry, delicate and creamy, with hints of white pepper, citrus and peach.

Winemaker's Notes:

The typical Austrian Taste. The Grüner Veltliner is delicate yet complex, with a mellow citrus colour, appealing peppery note, elegantly fresh fruit, fine mousseux with an invigorating taste
