Sycamore Lane Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
Good, though unremarkable, wine. There's a restaurant in Sackets Harbor, NY that serves it for $2 a glass on Wednesday, and that's about what it's worth.
The Cabernet is just what I was looking for. The price and prompt shipping made my order with Lyndhurst Wines a great experience. I won't hestitate to order from them again.
Two and a half glasses

Started by Rombauer back in the 80's Napa Cellars is now owned by the Trinchero Family Estate. As a result they are able to source premium Napa fruit from their almost 300 acres of estate vineyards in Napa Valley. That's really what makes this wine stand out and why it's so good. It's not just another Napa Cab but it's a Napa Cab with pedigree, quality and consistency, all at amazing value. With grapes coming from Oak Knoll, St. Helena, Rutherford and other prime sites, this 2008 delivers the character and style to match some of the best wines in region. Aged 19 months in predominately French oak, it shows berries, cocoa powder, hints of clove and spice. The tannins build a nice core structure with a round mouthfeel. Dark fruit, wild berries and cocoa flavors lead to a finish with well-integrated oak. On SALE!!
