At first offers up a very precise and clean nose but turns just a touch hot as the intense, spicy red fruits begin to assert themselves. Soft in the mouth with very fine wild berry/currant fruit up front then a mid-palate which is just a bit woody and bitter but powerful and full of chewy, dense fruit. Finishes with good length but not much complexity to the bittersweet cocoa notes that dominate the end.
