Switchback Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon Peterson Family Vineyard(1999)

Saturated ruby. Very ripe, floral aromas of candied black- and redcurrant and blackberry. Juicy and extracted, with slightly gritty but very rich flavors of dark berries and bitter chocolate. A bit unrefined, but densely packed and thick, with compelling sweetness. Tannins are covered by fruit.

All other 1999 Cabernet will be compared to this benchmark. Lush and concentrated with endless, saturated flavors.
