Switchback Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Peterson Family Vineyard 1999

Winemaker's Notes:

Saturated ruby. Very ripe, floral aromas of candied black- and redcurrant and blackberry. Juicy and extracted, with slightly gritty but very rich flavors of dark berries and bitter chocolate. A bit unrefined, but densely packed and thick, with compelling sweetness. Tannins are covered by fruit.
