Even my non-wine husband loved the taste of this one. Chocolate taste does not overpower the red wine but balances with it.
Omgee! I have always been partial to sweet wines and this one is now my absolute favorite. Simply perfect to end with any meal...or to start with for that matter. As they say, life is too short.... Start with dessert first!
Oh sweet nectar of the gods! This wine is to *die* for! Just the right blend of sweet, along with the taste of red wine . . . the hint of chocolate in every sip is delectible! I had this once at a restaurant, and have been looking for where to purchase a bottle ever since - all I could remember was the sun on the bottle. Well, I found it online and will always have a bottle in my refrigerator. If you haven't tried this stuff yet, get yourself a glass - as it is considered a dessert wine, I say start with dessert first!
My friend purchased this wine from a wine tasting selling around $15 per bottle $189 a case (12). The wine is very mellow and taste like a red tootsie pop. It doesn't have that tangy or distinctive taste like other wines I've tasted. I know one thing, I love it! I am online now trying to locate a bottle, since the distributor is going out of town.
I brought this wine to dinner at a friends and we had it with dessert. It was delicious. Like a liquid raisinet. Sweet and smooth.
