Food Pairings for Sutter Home Winery White Zinfandel
A drinkable wine that seems fine for everyday use.
This is a great wine. Not only is it cheap (6.99 for a 1.5 L bottle at Costco), it's delicious and very, very drinkable.
René's big bottle of Zinfandel.
This is my go to wine. I love it because it is not to sweet and not to dry.

You savor the first hint of strawberries, hold the glass up to the light, and think, pink is definitely my new white.
You savor the first hint of strawberries, hold the glass up to the light, and think, pink is definitely my new white. This is a classic example of the style established by Bob Trinchero when he created the varietal 30-plus years ago. It has that pretty in pink style that makes anyone want to sip a glass under an umbrella on a sunny afternoon. With sweet aromas on strawberries and watermelon, it delivers more fruit on the palate with a refreshingly crisp finish.
The original White Zinfandel, Sutter Home was the first winery to make this phenomenally popular off-dry rose wine. Many White Zin lover don't realize that Zinfandel is a red grape, but what really matters is that Sutter Home has prime vineyards and first quality fruit to source for this refreshing White Zin.
A delicate blush pink color introduces this fresh, lively wine. On your palate, light creaminess surrenders to a refreshing crisp finish of strawberries and melon. Enjoy chilled as an aperitif, or partnered with all types of foods, particularly those with a slight spiciness, such as Asian or Latin cuisine. - Winery ** SOLD OUT **
Much like Sutter Home's regular White Zinfandel, our alcohol-free White Zinfandel boasts a pale salmon color, a fresh, fruity aroma suggesting strawberries and cranberries, and soft, fruity, berrylike flavors leading to a crisp, lingering aftertaste. It's excellent both as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to a wide variety of foods.
A great wine for all occasions, White Zinfandel can be enjoyed with many of your favorite dishes; we enjoy pairing it with our favorite spicy cuisines. White Zinfandel complements Asian or Latin foods. Invite friends over for a fiery fajita bar and hand them a glass of well-chilled White Zin. The light sweetness of the wine will put out any four-alarm fires.
