OMG best Muscato for the $ and available all over CA. Exotic Island taste of lycee nuts, light bouquet of peaches. Each sip as fresh as the first; sweet & clean. We can kill a bottle in no time. They also make a pink Moscato, not as sweet.

Not a fan of moscato, so I suppose I'm biased. Way too sweet for my taste.

This wine is waaay too sweet and I was unable to finish one glass. It reminds me of an over sweetened version of the pineapple-orange juice drink (from a can) that I drank in my youth. This may be an ideal wine for the "wine cooler" crowd.

One of my favorites. Love to drink this cold on a summer day. Flowery scent. Slightly sweet.

A peppery nose leads the way in this sweet, pleasant, simple quaffer.

Delightfully fruity, with the freshest scents of peaches, flowers and smoky honey. It's pretty sweet, but the peach flavors are balanced by crisp acidity and an ultraclean feel. Finishes sweet and spicy.

Sutter Home Moscato 2008 750ML

Extravagantly perfumed, with beautiful scents of white peaches, rose, and lichee. Well-balanced with good acidity and a lingering finish of sweet and creamy peach and honeydew melon flavors. Light-bodied to enjoy as an aperitif or pair with fruit, light cheeses, sorbets (strawberry, peach, pear, or apple), and other light desserts. - Winery

Winemaker's Notes:

The Sutter Home Moscato was cap and drained to increase varietal intensity and was 100% non-malolactic fermented to maintain crisp acidity. To preserve its fresh, fragrant aromas and flavors, this wine is cold-fermented and aged entirely in refrigerated stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes:

This is an extravagantly perfumed wine, with beautiful scents of creamy white peaches, rose petals, and lichee fruit. The luscious peach and honeydew melon flavors are sweet, creamy and well-balanced with good acidity and a long, lingering finish. Enjoy it as an aperitif or dessert wine paired with fresh fruit, light cheeses, fruit tarts or sorbets (especially strawberry, peach, pear or apple) and other light desserts. But don’t limit your food choices to desserts; spicy dishes like Thai or Cajun entrees are well-suited with Moscato as well.
