What to Expect

Going by many names, Moscato Bianco, Muscat de Frontignan and Muscat Canelli among the most common, this aromatic grape produces wines that are characterized by floral aromas with peach and citrus flavors. Widely used in Italy for lightly sparkling, or Frizzante wines, the most famous of which is Asti Spumante.

Wine Tasting NotesThis is an extravagantly perfumed wine, with beautiful scents of creamy white peaches, rose petals, and lichee fruit. The luscious peach and honeydew melon flavors are sweet and creamy, well-balanced with good acidity and a long, lingering finish. This superb, light-bodied dessert wine is one of America's great wine values. Enjoy as an apertif or dessert wine pair with fresh fruit, light cheeses, fruit tarts or sorbets (especially stawberry, peach, pear, or apple) and other light desserts.

I was blown away when I went into a wine shop and asked for the best super sweet white he had and he gave me a 6 dollar bottle of sutter home. It is an AMAZING value. It is definitely a desert wine but does have a longer finish than some other sweet whites I have had. It doesn't do well in the fridge though. It is a single serving wine once opened but its great for dinner parties on a budget. I would absolutely serve it to guests.

Drier than the Brown Brother's Moscoto that we like. Still good and interesting, especially for those who like Moscoto dry and some hidden qualities which will give you something to talk about. Some may not like it as much.

I really like this wine. It is now on my must have list. It has just enough sweet without being overbearing. I am a lover of wines, dry or sweet. This is one of the better sweet wines that I have had.

Great price for an amazing wine. :) I love sweet wines and this is perfect for me. Sutter Home also sells a 4-pack of smaller bottles which are perfect if you only want about 2 glasses and don't want to open a whole bottle. (I'm not so into sharing my wine!) ;)
