Winemaker's Notes:

The deep burgundy eye is elliptically surrounded by a rainbow effect of gradated reds in the glass. Classic California-like Syrah aromas of white pepper, stewed plums and blueberry pie are decorated by the seemingly Rhone-like aromas of smoked meats. The American Oak adds a nice balance of vanilla to the light veil of smoky cedar-spice from the French oak. Infinitely describable, this Syrah envelopes the palate with layers upon layers of black licorice, blueberry, eucalyptus and clove, climaxing into a soft, jammy raspberry and charred-oak finish
