In Rapaura, Marlborough there lies a vineyard studded with precious stones. Once the bed of an ancient river, today they form the bed of our vineyard. We call them sunstones.  During the day, the sunstones reflect the brilliant Marlborough sunshine up into the vines and grapes. Bathed with heat from above and below, the grapes gradually ripen and their beautifully rich flavour intensifies.  Starved of moisture and struggling to grow in the stony soil, the vines concentrate their efforts into producing a few precious grapes, with the cool Marlborough nights locking the crisp, concentrated flavour inside. What the vines lack in quantity of fruit, they more than make up for in quality.  The result is a rare wine; elegant and crisp, yet intense - the magical taste of Stoneleigh. Read less

The wine was very fruity and sprakling. The taste was very sweet like peach.

Starts off with great citrus flavors of apricot and grapefruit in the nose and front of the palate. Yet, it finishes in a completely different style of a nice soothing spice. Perfect for a relaxing summer night out on the porch.

Bright, lively and ripe, with a nice apricot richness to the tangy lime and mineral flavors, lingering effectively, like biting into a ripe green apple. Drink now.

Completely Marlborough in its green scent of lime zest and lime flowers, this is powered with rustic green acidity, like artichoke. Match its limey fruit with chicken in a Thai green curry.

Standard stuff, with passion fruit and green pepper aromas, tropical and citrus fruit flavors and a crisp. jalapeno-accented finish. Clean and well made, a solid introduction to the Marlborough style.

Wine Spectator Smart Buy! Fresh and bright, brimming with Key lime, guava and passion fruit flavors that are clean and refreshing. A touch of freshly cut grass and lime zest comes in on the finish.
