Stonehaven Chardonnay Limestone Coast 2007
Very pleasant and surprisingly drinkable with a smooth finish and a dash of butter. Peach and melon are rounded out with very slight oak. Finish is even nice. Well worth it for everyday quaffing. Don't pass this one by!Add winemaker's notes

This wine could be the poster boy for Australian Chardonnay. The nectarine and peach aromas and flavors are coddled by a touch of vanilla and the entire package is soft, juicy and easy to drink. It's nothing fancy, just yummy weekday wine.
Features a complex nose of green apples, pears and pineapples accented by smoky notes. The flavors are similar folding in more vanilla and toast nuances - the oak in this wine seems to build towards the finish, while the fruit does the reverse, turning fainter and more citrusy.
Very fresh and accessible, with bright, fairly sweet fruit. The basic orange/pineapple aromas and flavors with slight mint and lemon accents keep this easy drinker right on target. Has good mouthfeel, and enough tang to keep it lively.
Bright and fruity, appealing for its tropical fruit and citrus flavors. Drink now.
Fruit was chosen from the vineyard for its flavor and intensity of varietal character. In the winery, selected yeast strains which enhance natural fruit character while also adding complexity were identified, and cold fermentation was implemented to retain maximum fruit flavor and freshness. Further character and creaminess was achieved by generous lees contact.
Soft and ripe, with an apricot note shining through the apple and citrus flavors. Drink now.
