The 2007 Sauvignon Blanc show a clear pale straw and offers aromas of lime, guava and a hint of fig. The flavors are a bright, mouth filling medley of ruby grapefruit, lemon lime and tropical notes of guava, papaya, and passion fruit.

Our 2007 Sterling Vintner?s Collection Sauvignon Blanc opens with classic aromas of tropical fruit, citrus and honeydew melon. The perfectly balanced flavors echo the bright fruit aromas, picking up stone fruit (apricot and peach) notes before culminating with a crisp finish. Intriguing hints of minerals and lemongrass, typical of the Sauvignon Blanc grape, add interest to the fruit character. We cool-fermented this 100% Sauvignon Blanc wine in stainless steel tanks to capture the vivid fruit expression of grapes from Central Coast vineyards. This wine makes a great pairing with seafood, especially cracked crab with sourdough French bread, seafood salads and grilled shrimp or white fish. Have a chilled bottle ready to serve with appetizers, like small grilled chicken brochettes, goat cheese and fresh basil bruschetta or spicy wontons.
