Flavors of red berries on the nose - nice and fruity. Sour cherry on the palate.

Shows concentrated aromas of black cherry, ripe juicy plums, dark chocolate, vanilla and lightly toasted oak. Equally focused flavors of jammy red fruit and ripe cherries and root beer, with a lingering finish of chocoalte-dipped cherries and sweet oak.

Nicely focused and easy to sip, with bright plum and spicy oak aromas and fruit-forward black cherry, herb and sassafras flavors. Drink now through 2011.

A dark, earthy wine that will suprise you. The rich, deep flavors of spiced plum, blackberry and mocha last through the lingering finish. Fully dry, it also has some sturdy tannins that will stand up well to roast meats.

Well-oaked, with cedary vanilla flavors adding dimension to the ripe cherry and currant-scented flavors, finishing with firm tannins. Drink now through 2008. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.

Quite tannic, but that can't stop the layers of licorice, blackberry, herb and mint that blend nicely through the moderate finish. Needs some time to settle down and soften up; best from 2001 through 2005.

Estate-grown grapes from Californiarsquo;s Napa Valley are aged in small oak barrels, resulting in a wine laden with black cherry and currant nuances and hints of tobacco overlaying velvety tannins.
