Clean, slightly candied and hinting loosely at apples and pears, this uncomplicated wine runs to juicy simplicity, but it is nicely balanced and squeaky clean all the way through. Those traits alone place it near the head of ten-dollar-and-under pack, but the fact that this reasonably tasty Chardonnay invites a second glance earns its kudos for plentiful value at the price.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Unlikely to improve with further aging.
Light straw in color, our Napa Valley Chardonnay offers a rich, creamy entry with flavors of ripe pear and apple, vanilla and spice followed by a long, fruity/toasty finish.
Bold and refreshing, with ripe fig, apple, pear and melon flavors and spicy, toasty oak, all folding together on the complex finish. Drink now through 2001.
Clean and refreshing, with aromatic floral, citrus, ripe pear and apple notes scented by light toasty oak, hints of hazelnut, honey and spice. Rich and elegant, it's deftly balanced. Drink now through 2006.
Bright straw. Moderately full-bodied. Balanced acidity. Moderately extracted. Mildly tannic. Citrus, butter, minerals. Creamy citrus aromas lead a smooth-textured mouthful of butter and lemon flavors with fine persistence. oak character is quite reserved and well integrated.

Our Winery Lake Chardonnay has a distinctive profile that effuses heavy floral aromatics and musky tropical fruit over ripe varietal character. Fragrant lavender aromas are followed by a fat and slightly creamy palate, layered with Golden Delicious apple, guava, and passion fruit flavors. The tree fruits echo through the broad and lasting finish.
