fruity and smooth, very enjoyable
Whoever recommended drinking this vintage between 2004 and 2007 was way off the mark. I purchased the last four bottles from a retailer several years ago and opened the first of those this evening to accompany my steak au poivre vert. It was a wonderful experience; the wine was lush with a fragrant bouquet, full-bodied, complex and perfectly balanced. And I won't be in any hurry to uncork the other three.
You can't go wrong with a Sterling wine - this is a great everyday version.
grat balance of fuit, body and complexity
