Winemaker Notes - A cumulative expression of this renowned growing region, our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon offers expressive character and appealing charm. Intense aromas of sweet cassis and black currant open the nose and are joined by gentle, well-integrated oak notes and suggestive hints of violet and black pepper. On the palate, long, ripe flavors of dark fruit are flanked by clove, cocoa and vanilla, with supple tannins and a long, smooth finish. Pair this gracious wine with grilled meats or hearty pastas.

An excellent value for under $20, this Cabernet expresses spicy black cherry, briary blackberry and mocha aromas. Hints of clove and anise persist over the lengthy finish and ripe tannins add structure and plush texture on the palate.
Scents of dusty oak, herb and flowers, with currant and spice notes that pick up a touch of leather and earthiness. Finishes with a hint of bitterness that gives it a Bordeaux-like edge. Drink now through 2011.
Gentle and rich, this Cab shows smooth, sweet tannins and a nice touch of oak. the underlying fruit flavors are of blackberries and cassis, with a touch of cinnamon-dusted mocha coffee.
Deep ruby in color with concentrated aromas of blackberries, plums, rose petals with hints of spicy oak, cinnamon oil and juniper. Bright, rich and juicy in the mouth with an alluring caramel and semi-sweet chocolate finish.
Tight if a touch austere, with a trim band of cedary currant, anise and spice. Turns elegant and even delicate on the finish, where the tannins are dry and firm. Best from 2002 through 2009.
There's lots of charm in this classic Napa Cab. It opens with aromas of black currants, espresso and tobacco, and has a nice edge of toasty oak. Dry and smooth, with attractive berry flavors and soft tannins.
