This is an increbible purchase at around $12. Deep color a strong nose of dark fruit with tastes of blackberry, chocolate, vanilla, mint and a touch of berry flavored smoke. The acidity is bananced beautifully the Tartaric acid balance gives it a crisp taste which denotes graceful aging. The tannins are mellow but present. I've never given a wine a 5 rating only to leave some room for the epitomy of an aged world class Cabernet that I will hopefully review in the near future. but this one deserves a high rating from me. I have found a winner! God bless Sterling Vineyards and Sonoma California !!!

Here's a deep red, almost black Cab, with strong aroma of spice, and blackberry. This is an Oakey Cab with intense fruit flavor and tannins that tickle your gums. It has hints of chocolate and coffee with a definite smokey taste when you draw in air after the swallow. It's finish is one of deep fruit on mid and back palate with a lasting smokieness. This is one of my favorite Christmas presents from a family friend.

After 30 minutes in the decanter, this wine delivers a nice balance of berry fruit with a nice hint of vanilla that lasts throughout. It does finish mellow after acidic beginnings. This is a great value for cabernet.

what a nice wine for the price.. i have paid 5 times as much to enjoy wines like this. letting it breathe only adds to the greatness of this wine. yet another sipping wine added to my list

Reminds me of a Cru Bourgeois Bordeaux with its trim mix of cedar, herb, dried currant and berry flavors, ending with firm tannins. Drink now. 74,970 cases made. -JL ** SOLD OUT **

Dark ruby in color, the Cabernet Sauvignon opens to spicy notes of raspberry and black cherry with hints of cedar and toasty oak rounding out the nose. Flavors of briar, blackberries, raspberries, hints of roasted coffee and an earthy, savory spiciness coat the palate, and lead to a long, elegant finish. These wonderful flavors and the wine's smooth, mouth-filling tannins make this wine a perfect accompaniment to barbecued steaks and lamb chops, as well as richer pasta dishes and ripe cheeses.

Gentle and rich, this Cab shows smooth, sweet tannins and a nice touch of oak. the underlying fruit flavors are of blackberries and cassis, with a touch of cinnamon-dusted mocha coffee.

A deep purple, red ruby hue. The nose shows elegant black plum fruit with layers of rose petals, toffee, chocolate, vanilla and anise, along with hints of eucalyptus. On the palate, the wine is bright and well balanced with a rich mouthfeel. Flavors of ripe blackberry, plum and black cherry are followed by notes of nutmeg and cloves, and a long, dark finish with soft, chalky tannins.

Supple and harmonious, with smooth currant, ripe, spicy plum and blackberry flavors that are sustained on a long, complex finish, ending with fine-grained tannins. An exceptional value in Napa Valley Cabernet. Drink now through 2008.

There's lots of charm in this classic Napa Cab. It opens with aromas of black currants, espresso and tobacco, and has a nice edge of toasty oak. Dry and smooth, with attractive berry flavors and soft tannins.
