Stephen Vincent Crimson 2005
Notes on the Stephen Vincent Crimson California Syrah Based Blend 2005 : NVWE NOTES: Bright, spicy and appealing, this perky Rhone-ish blend has aromas of strawberry, red currant and white pepper, over hints of dried red rose and black tea. It proves as refreshing as the nose suggests, offering flavors that contrast red plum and raspberry, with earthier hints of bouillon, smoke and black pepper. With a crisp, lean, but lasting finish, it will be a delicious companion to garlicky pastas, pizza, barbecued chicken and the like. A blend of 75% Syrah and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon from Monterey and Sonoma Counties.STEPHEN VINCENT CRIMSON CALIFORNIA SYRAH BASED BLEND 2005
This is hands down an excellent wine that you can give as a gift or, like me, keep all to yourself. I gave it five stars because of the value this wine presents. It's fruit forward, but not to jammy. Medium body and if you want the perfect match, I'm not sure how or why, but try this with some 60-65% dark chocolate tonight and see if you don't finish the whole bottle!
This is a very drinkable wine. A very enjoyable blend.
Fantastic wine! Rivals those more expensive brands! Can't find it now, but will buy online
