Stephen Vincent Chardonnay 2005

Member Review by tommyvino:

Medium yellow in color, with aromatic aromas of banana flavored shave ice cones, juicy fruit gum, and tangerine. The style is medium dry, medium heavy in body, fresh acidity, and a short finish. On the palate the flavors were moderate with wet wool, banana, and ripe nectarine the most prominent. This turned out to be another big heavy California Chardonnay with high abv 14.3% and not enough acidity or fruit. The only real thing it had going was it was not an oak and butter bomb. A soundly made wine just not very interesting. 2/5
