Stephen Vincent Cabernet Sauvignon 2003

Member Review by EMark:

Nice dark plum color--maybe a tad murky. Something of a "sour" nose. That does not portend anything good. Actually, it's pretty good on that palate. Nice fruit at the tip of the tongue, but nothing overwhelming. Very little tannin happening here. Reasonable tartness/acidity makes me think this will go good with food (marinated flank steak, tonight). Noticeable oak at the very back of the throat. Kind of a rough finish, but nothing obnoxious and I think having it with the meal will help a bit. Really, a nice wine.
