Winemaker's Notes:

This vineyard is tucked up against the coastal hills of the Santa Lucia Highlands nearf Greenfield. The 20 year old vines are hand tended. This Pinot Noir is grown on the benchlands on the western side of the Salinas Valley near the Santa Lucia Highlands. This wind swept bench offers long daylight, with cool growing temperatures, producing intense fruit flavors with soft supple tannins. The wine is elegant and easy to drink. Winemaker's Notes: Extremely complex with supple flavors of rhubarb, red berry and warm cinnamon. Subtle spicebox flavors balance the bright acidity in this elegant blend. 2007 Riverside International Wine Competition 2005 Pinot Noir Monterey - Medal Winner Limited release of 210 cases Rich ripe, berry, earthy, tar, complex with smokey oak and vanilla. Long lovely finish. Sugar: 0.19% Months in barrel: 4 year old french barrels Oak: 4 year old French barrels
