Aroma of black and red cherry. Similar taste profile but complimented by faint earthiness that is hard to describe. Opens as it warms up. Delightful play on the balance between acidity and dryness with young tannins. Great Italian wine that would go well with any Italian pasta dish.

Bright in the glass and possessing a very young nose. Loaded with acid. Reminiscent of Beaujolais Nouveau. Blackberry and currant flavors along with crushed red and black berries. Some violet and graphite nuances. Peppery up front. Very vibrant acid and super youthful fruit. Some apple on the finish. Practically no noticeable tannin. The acid is a bit abrasive with no tannin to balance. Perhaps time to mellow and integrate better.

Eyes: Dark brick in color Nose: I got some nice ( but very slight ) violet notes from this wine Mouthfeel: This wine seemed rather light bodied to me, kind of like a Beaujolias, not very tannic. Drank some on the second day and it seemed less tannic and a bit fruitier. It seems to have fallen apart after one day.

I tried this last night on its own and it was quite nice. Tonight I had copper river salmon over a salad dressed with garlic tahini dressing and decided to try it and felt it was better tonight. Very food friendly, with alot of ripe fruit on the nose.
