Bright plum color, black cherries, plums and road dust aromas precede to dark stone fruit, tar and tobacco notes and a long, structured finish. With aeration this wine really offers so much more of everything.

Not so fruit-forward at this stage of its life, and perhaps better for it. Aromas of plum and tobacco, echoed on the palate. Still a nice acidity at the core, which makes it perfect for pasta with pancetta, tomatoes, and cheese. Herbal, plummy aftertaste. Not the most complex Barbera you'll ever drink but holding up surprisingly well.
